POWERFUSE 2.0

Powerfuse clew and tack are our “signature” fully laminated radial overlapping internal panels used in PRO and PRO-HD constructions.

The 2023 version is redesigned to be lighter in weight compared to previous Powerfuse generations.
The unique feature of Powerfuse construction (also shared with Radial HD panels) is how the internal panels are cut and placed in a radial overlapping pattern creating a very strong, multiple layer laminate at high load points (tack and clew) and then gradually reducing the number of overlapping layers to distribute the loads progressively into the main sail body.

The Wizard Pro features our custom laminated POWERFUSE tack and clew panels for load distribution.

Centre upper panels feature INTERNALLY PRINTED LAMINATED FILM to produce the crispest, most responsive feeling possible for ultimate control and pop during freestyle movs and jumps.

DACRON luff panel combines excellent stitch holding properties with soft elasticity which gives the sail its incredibly neutral feel when ducking and pumping.

Sail Features

On Off Power
A modern freestyle sail needs to perform well in opposite spectrums. Full power to get going quickly and give you pop and a neutral de-powered feeling when ducking the sail.

Dacron Luff Panel
The Dacron luff panel is the key to the Wizard’s neutrality. While the rest of the sail uses highly monofilm, the Dacron luff panel allows the sail to feel completely neutral when de-powered for ducking.

Tight Leech Design
The tight leach allows you to use every ounce of power in the sail, and thus be able to use smaller sails than a comparable sail with a loose leech. The tight leech also ensures full control during spinning moves and gives you the springy pop you need to boost technical high power maneuvers.

4 Batten Layout
4 batten layout to provide a stable base and allow us to use the lowest possible luff curve so that the sail can feel as neutral as possible.

Wide Wind Range
A large tuning range that allows the rider to trim the sail for all conditions. Aimed for freestyle and bump and jump conditions, the Wizard rigs with less downhaul tension than other sails to allow the sail to maximize power when pumping and, offer the most consistent ducking possible and give maximum pop for air moves.

Agility
Light weight and extremely neutral, you won’t feel excessive back hand pressure when wave riding and the sail will remain neutral even in the steepest and most critical of wave-riding positions. Moves like 360s and goiters will become even more accessible.

Multi Use
Equally at home on foil or fin, the Wizard will get you going quickly and controllably, whichever your choice of discipline.
